National Mojito Day
The secret to a great mojito is to use real sugar and not simple syrup. The texture allows you to extract the most flavor through muddling.
In a shaker, muddle 6 fresh mint leaves, ½ of a lime cut into wedges, and 2 tsp. sugar.
Add 2 oz. white rum and fill with ice. Shake well.
Pour into a glass and top with 1 oz. club soda.
Stir gently and garnish with mint sprigs and lime wheels.
