National Margarita Day
For the perfect Margarita, use 100% agave tequila blanco and Cointreau, not Triple Sec. Spice it up by adding cumin or cayenne to the salt rim. I prefer mine on the rocks instead of blended.
Moisten the glass rim and dip in a shallow dish filled with course salt.
Shake with ice, 1½ oz. tequila, 1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice, and ½ oz. Cointreau.
Strain and serve over ice with a lime garnish.
